The purpose is the check whether the shopowners has valid licence to operate and sell alcoholic-contained drinks in Shah Alam.During the licencing board meeting, there was strong objections from councillors to ban all form of alcoholic drinks in papers. But in reality, the cheap liquor are actually bought by foreigners and indian community.Some shopowners had been operating and selling liquor for more than 10 years in Shah Alam.We have advised to owners that licence will be renewable and case to case basis attached with terms and conditions which includes STRICTLY NO OPENLY DISPLAY in public. The raid was done together with Councillor Tan Ah Kow and MBSA licence department.
