I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK JKR PETALING AND THEIR MAIN CONTRACTOR FOR HAVING LISTEN TO OUR GRIEVANCES AND THOUGH THE COMPLETION IS BEHIND SCHEDULE, ATLEAST THE BRIDGE IS PARTIALLY OPENED FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF ROAD USERS. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE BRIDGE WILL BE FULLY OPERATIONAL BY FEBRUARY 2010...

4.MAR.2010- Beams is lay..Though is behind schedule,it better late than never do it.
20.JAN.2010- 2nd.Phase expansion starts.
16.DEC.2009- Bridge is open to pedestrians and other road-users.
05-DEC.2009- Bridge is concreted and will be function next few days.
18.NOV.2009-Installation of traffic light done.
12.NOV.2009- Follow-up and check with the contractor regards to traffic light installation and also the expected date of completion..
31.OCT.2009- The project coming alive following our complaint. The work resumed with new contractor ( Picture 1 & 2).
16.SEPT.2009.The project been halted and abandon due to financial problem faced by the sub-contractor. The project has been behind schedule since June 2009. No one follow up until we step in.

The project started December 2007.The contractor??? Could not be reached.

The slowdown of traffic flow is cause by the damaged pot hole.
The real cause of the problem is the incomplete bridge which look like another abandoned project by the previous government.
Driving across without hesitation. Awaiting accident to happen at anytime.
No traffic light at the junction.
