22/01/2010-Fri. Site visit to check the drainage work.
15.Jan.2010-Fri. The landowner on their own pace...building manhole and drain.
07.Jan.2010- Thu. It's messy job to finished off the problems. Right now the land-owners has amicably settled the flood issues.Preventive measures has been taken. The landlord of PANELBASE has done the bakau piling across the stream to prevent the contruction debris and tree trunk from clogging the culvert underneath thier factory. (PROBLEM NO.1 SOLVED).
Next, the neighboring landowner who try to earth-filled higher than PANELBASE factory. Amicably and verbally agreed not to increase the level and will clear the rubbish collected in the manhole..( PROBLEM NO.2 SOLVED ).
The not-so-cooperative SIN LIAN LEE MANUFACTURING is avoiding us and was make to wait outside his factory for an hour!! According to the Guard, we are not allowed to enter the factory compound until the PIC came back from lunch.But after an hour standing under the sun, we are called to the office but I am not satisfied and angry because he should have invited us into the first place and why was I make to wait for the PIC to come from lunch!! Due to the kind of reception given, the landowners will do whatever they can to prevent their land from getting flooded rather than waiting for someone not responsible and cooperative.

29.Dec.2009. Today, together with the Enforcement Dept, En.Hanif, Raja and few officer from Engrg.Dept. Visited the dumping site and meet up with the complainant, Mr Kenny. The issue is there are at least 4 land-owners involved in the illegal dumping. Not easy to tackle the problems because we don't know who are the landowner.Until then, MBSA will liase with the Land Office.Meanwhile, MBSA has cordoned the area. The concerned Kenny has hired a private excavator to remove the soil behind his factory to prevent flood from further damage.A verbal agreement between MBSA and Kenny that the immediate prevention is by excavation a trench in the disputed land so that the flood will not spill over his factory.In legal view, the excavation is illegal because it can be consider trespassing but until then, we need to wait for the land-owner to appear so that all parties can sit down and negotiate including MBSA.
28.Dec.2009. Illegal land-filling reported by the nearby factory, PanelBase System Industries.Because of the land-filling elevation, it has caused flooding and heavy losses to the nearby factory. Action can be taken under Act 133 Section 70A (1), (10) & (11) Kerja Tanah tanpa kebenaran atau kelulusan dari Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan ( PBT ).
