Tour of Duty:VISIT TO FELDA D'SAJI RESTAURANT IN KL.

PURPOSE OF VISIT:

To look into the proposal of opening a Garden concept restaurant in Sek.7 by FELDA D'SAJI.A GLC incorporated by the Federal Government. This trip to understand the ideal concept of layout design, operation and management.

We were welcomed by the CEO of FELDA D'SAJI Nordin....

Meeting over and we are ushered to the nearby restaurant

for a look at the concept and layout.

Balinese features and Modern Malay design....

Water fountain and pond features...

Overall, the garden is very appealing and beautiful.

This is one part of the building..where seminar, marriage

and etc.. are held here. Simple decoration. I like it.

Buffet  lunch...is good and simple.

We end our tour at 3pm.

Conclusion...

I hope they can open one in Setia Alam...

Big reshuffle for Selangor councils.

THE heads of the engineering department at the 12 local authorities in Selangor have been reshuffled and this is a sign that a big shake-up is on the way.Read more>.Shah Alam public relations officer Shahrin Ahmad confirmed that the director from Shah Alam had gone to PJ and the vacancy filled by the engineering director from MPSJ.

Setelah menetap selama setahun di Kemaman aku mula merasakan kadang2 cuaca waktu malam dibilik rehat rumah ku agak panas juga. Melalui seorang kawan baik aku belilah kipas ceiling dan syarikat penghantaran telah mengupah seorang wireman Bangla untuk memasang kipas saya itu. Saya lampirkan untuk tatapan tuan2 cik2 dan puan2 workmanshipnya yang sungguh hebat ini. Memang masih belum ada anak melayu yang sehebat ini.

........there is a ' DANGER' warning sign hang on the fence..

The hawkers claimed to operate their business beside the sewerage treatment plant since 2 years back under the previous government. And since Pakatan took over, he went to ADUNs for supporting letters  and he got it...

Knowingly, this compound should free from any doing any form of business and I had imposed them with 6 months eviction from this date. But due to reason of his genuine and insistence, I had to find a solution to help him and the others unreservedly. Temporarily, I have no obstruction though I do not support the idea of conducting their business nearby to this kind of environment. I will consult with MBSA for further details.

Or maybe, I would seek ADUN Kota Damansara for his wisdom.....

KOMEN...

Saya merasa diri saya bagaikan seekor anak lembu diheret masuk ke kandang harimau...untuk di baham olehnya. Perkara ini disengajakan untuk saya datang ke perjumpaan ini. Tiada jemputan diberi kepada Ahli Majlis dan AJK saya. Tiada satu pun tetamu jemputan khas datang...cuma saya dan AJK MPP.Sekurang-kurang 4 Pengerusi Persatuan Penduduk yang berdekatan hadir diperjumpaan tersebut

Secara individu, mereka mula mengritik cara kerajaan mentakbir khususnya MBSA kerana tidak menandingi masaalah penduduk, sampah dan gejala sosial saperti tiada penangkapan mesin kuda dan mengapa saya tidak memilih mereka sebagai AJK MPP...etc...walhal mereka tahu kesemua masaalah adalah perbuatan kerajaan BN yang dahulu dan sikap tiadakerjasamaan diantara penduduk setinggan. Sebagai Ahli Majlis zon tersebut, saya akan menunaikan tanggung jawab dan kewajipan saya dikawasan saya. Tiada pilihkasih, perkauman dan berunsur politik saperti yang dipratikan oleh kerajaan dulu.Akhir sekali, syukurlah anak lembu ini dapat melawan balik dan jalan keluar dari kandang tanpa kecederaan yang teruk. Pengalaman inilah yang membina saya menuju kehadapan dengan megah dan menhadapi cabaran yang akan datang.Terima kasih kepada mereka.

21.NOV.2009-Sabtu. Kerja kebersihan dilakukan setelah 15 hari dari perobohan.

18,NOV.2009-Khamis. Kebersihan dan pengutipan masih belum dijalankan. Sudah maklum di mesyuarat Perlesenan 17.11.2009.

13.NOV.2009-Jumaat. Ketua JKKK dimarah oleh mangsa gerai haram kerana meroboh dalam 3 hari memang cepat tapi bila disuruh bersih mengambil 1 minggu.Saya pun memberitahu Jab Luar Bandar untuk kerjasama pembersihan secepat mungkin.

8.NOV.2009-Isnin. SMS kpd Tuan Hakim untuk ambil tindakan. Tiada maklumbalas dari dia.

6.NOV.2009.-Jumaat. Perobohan gerai haram sudah dijalankan. Masaalah pengutipan sampah tidak dilaksanakan pada hari yang sama.

Yesterday,

MBSA demolished about 5 illegals stalls and wooden shops in Pekan Subang Baru.

Some are happy that the stalls is gone, some are angry with me for the drastic move.

Some politize the issues and turn to media and politicians.Some just mind their own business.

But end of the day, the happy one out-numbered the other.

They want changes and development in their area.

The progress of development is rapid in term of infrastructures, buildings and utilities.

We don't need to elaborate further but the unfortunate hawkers knew their days is numbered and

we have informed them personally at any day, anytime...their stalls had to go.

Some hawkers are understanding because they had been occuppying since 1991 without rental.

Others with political interest and of previous government are trying to gain public sympathy.

And majority of the people knows that development and diversification is imminent.

Because they are reminded that this place is no longer a Pekan or Kampong

But a City..a Bandaraya Shah Alam.

Coming back to the question...

Why such a drastic move??

The hawkers has been earlier given a notice of evacuation 3days ago that the stalls will be demolished.

But they took it for granted for too many times and the tragedy came to them yesterday.

As a councillor, sometime we are been informed of  an operation but when and where is kept confidential.

It is to prevent information leakage and all handphone must be handed to Tuan Hakim, MBSA Enforcement Director.

Why I was not there when the demolition occured???

3 Councillors were involved in the operation of which I was shove to Sg.Buloh area.

What are the future plan for the unfortunate hawkers??

The matter has been hightlighted to Datuk Bandar through Jab.Perlesenan last month.

They have to be patience and let DB make the decision.

An hour later, another tourist asked " Is this town a pretty good place to live?". The old man replied, " What about the town you are from?. How is it?" The tourist said, " In my town everyone is very close and willing to lend thier neighbour a helping hand. There's always a hello and thank-you everywhere you go". The old man replied, " That's a lot like this in this small town".

After the tourist is gone, the grandson asked, " Grandpa, why did you tell the first man our town was terrible and the second man a wonderful place?" The old man smiled and said, " No matter where you go, you take your attitude with you and that's what make a place terrible or wonderful".
