Mazalan: About 3,000 lots allocated to the lower-income group. “At the moment, 300 lots have been set aside, but 3,000 lots have been allocated for the low-income group,” said Dato Mazalan at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) full board meeting on Wednesday. The initiatives were a result of a privatisation agreement between the MBSA and Nirvana Memorial Park Sdn Bhd.
According to Dato Mazalan, to qualify for a free lot at the columbarium, the family would have to have a household income of less than RM1,500 a month. Those who need assistance to get a lot would have to refer to the MBSA councillors, assemblymen or MP in Shah Alam, Dato Mazalan said the crematorium and columbarium were located in Section 21, Shah Alam, and that the initiatives took immediate effect.
