EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO MALAYSIAN AIRLINE FACILITIES.
PURPOSE: A COMMUNITY PROGRAM TO INCULCATE THE CONCEPT OF 'SHARING AND CARING' FOR THE RESIDENTS OF MPP ZONE 17.
We started off from our MPP office at 9am
with MBSA Tour Bus.
Breakfast in the bus...

The enthusiastic school children from
Kg.Melayu Subang and staying nearby .
We reached the MAS Facility together with MPP AJKs.
We were given a briefing by the Tuan Rashid, the PIC of
Engineering & Maintenance Department.
Part 1: A 5 minutes presentation on how a plane is built.
Part 2: The briefing on the history and future of MAS.

Admittedly, I am a bit lost in term of aviation's technical term
but curious to understand how the engine works.

The BLACK BOX
To see the Black Box.Usually orange in color to make
it easier to find in the event of a crash, the Black Box,
containing a cockpit voice recorder and digital flight
data recorder, has proven invaluable in analyzing the
cause of many airplane disasters.
The weight of the Black Box is about 18 kg..
The second stopover, we are advised to adhered instruction strictly.
This is one preventive measure against any untoward happening.
Notice the borderline on the floor..No shoe beyond the line.
This is to prevent any presence of sharp object.

Due to security reason, we are not allowed to take pictures
in the Hangar except this group potrait with permission..
Inside the Hangar, we are shown how the plane is painted,
Repairing and modification on the wing. Parts replacement.
The interior maintenance and lastly, the landing gear.
Children who had never experience or fly before,
I am glad that they feel happy with such an outing exposure.

'left and right hand' in managing and
controlling the situation..

Overall, I am happy, really happy about this program. Many thanks to MAS Engineering Dept for providing a good hospitality and valuable information about aviation industry. Not only that, the staff unselfishly encourage the children to study hard for their education and future.Last and not least, my appreaciation to my
MPP AJK Cik ASIDAH,
for her contribution in making this program a success and
a Christmas gift to MPP ZON 17.

End at 2 pm and rushed back to MBSA to attend
the Monthly Full-Council Meeting.
